A partner since 2003, Mr. Van Zandt is a graduate of Pitzer College
in Claremont where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Studies in 1985. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1990 from
San Francisco Law School. Mr. Van Zandt was formerly a partner with
Clapp, Moroney, Bellagamba & Vucinich and Special Counsel with
Severson & Werson, APC.
Mr. Van Zandt practices in the areas of financial and mortgage
services litigation, automobile finance litigation, Business &
Professions Code § 17200 defense, personal injury defense,
premises liability defense, along with special investigations of
insurance and banking fraud committed by consumers. He has tried
more than a dozen cases to verdict and has handled hundreds of arbitrations
and mediations.
Mr. Van Zandt is admitted to all California State and Federal District
Courts as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
He is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, The Lawyers
Club, the ABA, American Inns of Court and is a Judge Pro Tem for
the Santa Clara County Superior Court.
