Mr. Pedersen is a senior partner of Bledsoe, Cathcart, Diestel, Pedersen & Treppa LLP. He has been associated with the firm for 23 years, the last 18 as a partner.

Mr. Pedersen received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley (1972). He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (1986). He is admitted to practice in California state and federal courts.

Mr. Pedersen's practice focuses on real estate and business litigation. He is a recognized expert in landlord-tenant rent-controlled-jurisdiction litigation, including claims for discrimination and retaliation. His real estate practice also includes issues of nondisclosure, broker liability, condominium/developer liability, toxic tort, land subsidence, construction defect, and contract and insurance policy interpretation. Mr. Pedersen's general business and tort practice includes trademark and copyright infringement issues, all forms of bodily injury claims, and employment litigation. Mr. Pedersen's experience includes numerous jury trials and arbitrations, and proceedings before the San Francisco Residential Rent Stabilization and Arbitration Board. Mr. Pedersen's appellate practice includes the following published opinions: Meneffe v. Ostawari (1991) 228 Cal.App.3d 239; and 1100 ParkLane Associates v. Feldman (2008) 160 Cal.App.4th 1467.

Mr. Pedersen is a member of the American Bar Association, Bar Association of San Francisco, and The Association of Defense Counsel for Northern California and Nevada. He was named a Northern California Super Lawyer for the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
